As a former two term Grays Harbor County Commissioner, Wes Cormier helped oversee county operations, set policy, and pass balanced budgets that served the residents of Grays Harbor. During his time in office, he worked directly on financial oversight, budget planning, and responsible stewardship of your public dollars.

Cormier’s years of experience includes proposing, reviewing and approving multi-million dollar county budgets, evaluating department funding requests, overseeing public expenditures, and helping to ensure the county remained financially accountable to the public. During his eight years, he worked closely with elected officials, department heads, and staff to maintain essential public services while emphasizing fiscal responsibility and transparency.

Before serving as County Commissioner, Cormier worked as a Senior Real Estate Appraiser, giving him a depth of knowledge of property valuation and the levy system.  Experience that is relevant to the position of County Treasurer.

During his time as Commissioner, Cormier was always a pragmatic decision maker with a focus on working families, local businesses, and the community. If elected, he will continue emphasizing accountability, integrity, and protecting the interests of Grays Harbor residents.
